The end of something beautiful. {Kansas City}
This was my very last photo session in Louisiana. Vanessa and I had been talking for quite some time about the style and details she was wanting for her session. We went back and forth on ideas and she really loved this style. Candid, in the moment, type shots as opposed to posed and say "cheese" shots. So I practiced and learned some new techniques. The pictures are the outcome and she was super happy. Vanessa is also a photographer and we have worked together several times in the past. She has also taken pictures of me. She captures babies and families so beautifully. If you are in the Leesville/Fort Polk, Louisiana area and are looking for a newborn photographer, she's your person! You can view her work here and here.
Although I want to specialize in weddings and seniors, I love taking pictures of people. Be it families, children, boudoir, you name it. People are just facinating to me. We all come from different backgrounds, we all have stories to tell and getting to know even just a little bit about each and every single one of my clients, is something I enjoy. I just love people. We are all special in our own little ways. So getting to photograph a glimpse of their life, is pretty cool. How we view our loved ones, how we show affection, how we interact with one another. It's pretty amazing to be able to see it in person and to capture it on camera so you can treasure it for years.
